What is an Encounter?
These are our main worship gatherings.
We call them Encounters because it's our hope that you'll come face to face with God's presence during this time of Worship + Word.
Our Encounters begin at 10am and typically last
between 1 - 1.5 hours.
What will my first experience be like?
Upon arrival, you'll be shown to a front row parking spot by a member of our parking team. From there, you're encouraged to stop by our Welcome Center to fill out some simple information. We'll even have a little something for you - our way of saying thanks for joining us.
Once inside, you're free to grab a cup of coffee, drop off any young ones you may have with you at the Near Kids check-in desk, and head to your seat.
Lobby doors open at 9:30am.
What should I wear?
There's no dress code when joining us for worship. We care about you, not your outfit.
So, what's the vibe like?
We think church should be fun!
You can expect a casual atmosphere, lots of high fives (or hugs, if you're into that kind of thing), and plenty of smiles.
We can also guarantee there will be good music and the sermon won't be boring.
Will my kids have a good time?
Children are celebrated at Near Church.
Believe it or not, crying babies are music to our ears!
